Quick readI thought that this story was well written, but that it lacked something that I cannot put my finger on。 I did enjoy the story, and there was nothing about it that I found to distract me from the story, but perhaps it seemed to me that the story had already been told a few times before this book。
Edita,
I don’t read much fiction these days and I wasn’t completely sure this book would be for me when I chose it。 However, once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down。 Yes, the book has flaws and some events/behaviors don’t seem logical, but that didn’t interfere with the whole experience。 I enjoyed the book and the overall storyline。

Vibliophile,
Intriguing premise that was hard to put down, BUT。。。 。。。 the explanations & resolution at the end were 。。。 unsatisfyingThe creepy premise pulled me in, & though the protagonist is decidedly odd herself, the story is well written enough, and the desire to figure out what Leo's motives were kept me reading。Ultimately, though, it's essentially little more than a techie version of a kind of Stepford Girlfriend story with a not particularly believable resolution to the trial at the end。I didn't hate Intriguing premise that was hard to put down, BUT。。。 。。。 the explanations & resolution at the end were 。。。 unsatisfyingThe creepy premise pulled me in, & though the protagonist is decidedly odd herself, the story is well written enough, and the desire to figure out what Leo's motives were kept me reading。Ultimately, though, it's essentially little more than a techie version of a kind of Stepford Girlfriend story with a not particularly believable resolution to the trial at the end。I didn't hate it, but after all that buildup, it was a letdown - plus it tacks on a layer of #metoo feminism that just felt overly contrived。Then the romantic conflict resolves as if it had been nothing at all in a happy-for-now conclusion。 So yeah, a bit of a letdown。 The 3 stars are mainly for how it kept me reading without wanting to put it down。***CONTENT ****Sex: The protagonist has sex pretty freely, & there's enough detail to give it an NC-17, but it's not salacious or erotic - it just provides enough basic details that the reader knows what's happening*Language: moderate amount of common swears, plus 7 f-bombs*Religion: about a dozen uses of the Lord's Name irreverently (ie "in vain"), including twice as a curse 。。。more
Laura Bowie,
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book。 All thoughts and opinions are my own。 I really enjoyed this book and the bond between Rosemary and Wendy。 SO many twist and turns I could not put it down。
